Abstract
This study aims to, 1) To describe the application of online lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic in the UMS accounting education study program; 2) To find out the obstacles to online lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic at the UMS accounting education study program. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological research design. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the results of interviews that have been conducted with UMS accounting education lecturers and students, it is known that the application of online lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic has prepared online learning materials, and facilities and infrastructure to support online learning using gmeet, zoom, telegram, whatsapp, schoology , open learning¸ and webex. In the implementation of online lectures during the pandemic there were also obstacles such as students who paid less attention to the material presented by lecturers and most students complained about an unstable signal which caused students to pay less attention when online lectures took place and caused students to be unable to complete their assignments properly.
