Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Profitability, Liquidity, and Leverage on financial distress. The method used in this study is purposive sampling with predetermined criteria. The number of samples used is 67 company in accordance with the criteria. In this study, the research method used was quantitative with secondary data collection. Secondary data was obtained from the annual financial reports of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019 – 2021. The sampling technique uses documentation with secondary data obtained from the official website (IDX), namely www.idx.co.id. The data analysis technique uses logistic regression analysis with the application used, namely the SPSS22 program. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that profitability has a positive effect on financial distress with a significance value of 0.001 Liquidity does not affect financial distress with a significance value of 0.084 Leverage does not affect financial distress with a significance value of 0.145.
