Abstract

Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) is physical disturbance among workers, including online motorcycle taxi drivers. Due to the time it takes for online motorcycle taxi drivers driving their vehicle on the road, even more than their maximum work hours in a week that already written by the government, it’s risky for them and could make them feel this kind of disturbance. MSDs refers to general scope inflammation and/or degenerative condition affecting musculoskeletal system like Low Back Pain, Neck Pain, or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. There is some risk factors that form MSDs, like personal factors or workplace factors. This research aims to knowing if driving time affects musculoskeletal disorders, especially for ojek online drivers in Bandung City with cross-sectional analytic observation. Data collected using Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ) that includes 27 questions for 86 respondents. All the data were analyzed by Kolmogorov-Smirnov Normality Test, Levene’s Homogenity Test, and Logistic Regression Test which generally conclude that driving time doesn’t affecting musculoskeletal disorders in Bandung City ojek online drivers.
