Abstract

This research is motivated by the Form of Indonesian language errors for SD Alrahman-anusorn Thailand stuedents. The aims of the study were (1) to describe the forms of errors in Indonesian, (2) the efforts of teachers and schools to overcome errors in Indonesian in SD Alrahman-anusorn Thailand students. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The sources and data used in this study were students and teachers of SD Alrahman-anusorn Thailand as well as supporting documents to enrich the research data. Data collection techniques used in this study using observation techniques, documentation and in-depth interviews. The data checking technique used in this study used theoretical triangulation techniques, while the data analysis technique applied was an interactive data analysis technique which included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study found that there were misconceptions in speaking in the school environment and writing Indonesian in Alrahman-anusorn Elementary School students in Thailand. The forms of errors in speaking and writing Indonesian can be classified into 3 types, namely classificational, correlational, and theoretical misconceptions.
