Abstract
TPQ has a very important role in growing and giving birth to a generation of Muslims who love and practice Islamic teachings in accordance with Islamic law, can be applied in social life and are able to adapt to the current era of globalization. TPQ is also able to form a child's personality for the better. None other than the purpose of TPQ is to prepare the formation of a Qur'anic generation, namely a generation that has a commitment to the Qur'an as a source of behavior, a basis for life and a reference for all matters. The purposes of this research are 1) To describe the role of TPQ Daruth Thulab in developing children's morals in Kembang Sokawoya Hamlet, Canden Village, Sambi District, Boyolali Regency year 2022. 2) To find out and describe the obstacles in fostering the morals of TPQ Daruth Thulab's children in Kembang Sokawoya Hamlet, Canden Village, Sambi District, Boyolali Regency year 2022. This research is included in field research and also includes a type of qualitative research that utilizes a qualitative descriptive approach. While data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. From the research that has been done, the following results are obtained: providing teaching in science which includes 1) subject matter; the ability to read the Koran starting with Iqro' volumes 1 to 6, juz ama and the Koran according to the tajwid. Then proceed with the provision of tahsinul khitab material. 2) additional material; dinul Islam, memorizing prayer readings, and memorizing daily prayers. Providing teaching in character building which includes 1) the habituation method, 2) the exemplary method, 3) the method of giving advice, 4) the story method, 5) the reward method. Obstacles that occur include; Peers, social media, and parents who are less supportive in fostering children's morals.
