Abstract

Film is a media used as a means of channeling entertainment in which the storyline is presented and available in various genres. Films have played a role in showing and representing Gender-Based Violence (KBG). This study aims to determine the issues of gender-based violence shown in the film 3 fara part 1 and 2. Using qualitative descriptive method, by means of qualitative narrative analysis Tzveton Todorov, purposive sampling research techniques, data collection techniques with observation, documentation and literature. The results obtained equilibrium (beginning of the situation) began when the characters began to lose their identity and how they deliberately commit Gender-Based Violence Against Women, disruption (middle/balance) of the events experienced by the characters began to get a picture of themselves and began to make peace with himself and equilibrium (end/efforts to improve) reached the efforts of the characters as men who always appreciate women, committed and prevent the occurrence of KBG
