Abstract

Indonesia is a country where the majority of the population is Muslim, and when someone is Muslim, it is his duty to fulfill thepillars of Islam. Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam, and is defined as one of the acts of worship that is carried out by giving a certain amount of one's own property to those have the right to do so under Islamic law. Accordingto Islamiclaw, zakat recipients include eight asnaf, Including the poor, Amil, converts, slaves, Galim, Fi Sabililah, Ibnu Sabil. The purpose of this study is to find the application of Article 3, namely regarding in relation to the administration of zakat, its distribution and increasing profits of zakat in realizing community welfare, as set forth in Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning Zakat Management in LazisMu Boyolali Regency, and to find out the optimization of Zakat Mal supervision in LazisMu Boyolali District. The method, of writing this thesis is carried out using a qualitative descriptive research type with an empirical normative research approach. Secondary and primary data were collected using library surveys and field interviews. Data collection techniques were used through interviews and literature study research, both from books, laws and regulations, and writings and documents related to the writing of this thesis. Based on this research, the results obtained indicate that the application of Article 3 dealing with the management of zakat concerning the collection and distribution is in accordance with Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning the management of zakat, as evidenced by the implementation of programs carried out by LazisMu in terms of collection and distribution to improve welfare. Boyolali people. However, supervision is not optimized because it hasn't been optimized yet in accordance with the law because, if it is adjusted to Article 19 of Law No. 23 of 2011, it turns out that the audit, is only carriedout through the office of the ministry of religion and there is no report to BASNAZ.
