Abstract
Many photography vendors have sprung up and developed in the midst of society. Photography as a photo medium is a form of communication where one can capture a moment or event in one's life. The development of the photography service business makes business owners have to retain clients by increasing their loyalty to vendors. This study discusses how the marketing process with an interpersonal communication approach is carried out by photography vendors in an effort to build client loyalty. This research is a qualitative research, the data comes from the results of interviews conducted with informants from 3 photography vendors including Saksi Sakti, Arvis Photo, and Timeless Photo Cinema and also one client from each vendor with a total of 3 clients who use their services repeatedly. Using interpersonal communication theory and marketing communication mix and analyzed using Miles & Hubberman data analysis techniques, the result is that social media is one of the media for marketing photography services, vendors build public relation with their customers as a way to increase customer loyalty to vendors and there are forms loyalty that exists in the minds of the client itself.
