Abstract

MSMEs located in the village of Jambukulon, Ceper District, Klaten Regency are MSMEs known as centers for the bamboo handicraft industry which produce products such as gazebos, tables, chairs and ducks from bamboo roots.In running a business, Bamboo SMEs found various obstacles that occurred so that they could hinder the development of their business. Some of the obstacles faced by the MSMEs Bambu Jambukulon business actors are regarding the lack of capital to develop the business, the lack of experts, the price of raw materials that are not stable, the limited equipment for production and equipment that is less modern so that problems often occur when producing orders in large quantities , lack of product marketing, lack of product innovation resulting in competition between local bamboo craft entrepreneurs. Efforts to develop the Bamboo MSMEs in Jambukulon Village are carried out by compiling a business development strategy using the SWOT Analysis and QSPM methods, namely by identifying various internal and external factors from the Jambukulon Bamboo MSMEs business actors and designing alternative strategies to develop the business. The results obtained after conducting this research are a sequence of priority strategies that can be used by MSMEs Bambu Desa Jambukulon in developing their business, namely a strategy of collaborating with the government to expand marketing through activities such as exhibitions, with a TAS value of 5.7492, a strategy to expand the market distribution network to enter the market share. new segment, with a TAS value of 5.7052.
