Abstract

Agus ran for Governor of DKI Jakarta in 2017 with Slyviana Murni with serial number 1 but failed. Because of this failure, Agus Yudhoyono's name has actually risen to prominence to this day, and Agus is even predicted to be a presidential candidate in 2024. He was able to bring the Democratic Party to the top 3 positions. This success cannot be separated from the coup problem with KSP Moeldoko. In addition, AHY has a myriad of achievements to be proud of. The best graduates at the Featured High School, namely Taruna Nusantara High School, are one of them and also the best graduates at the Military Academy. From this statement, this thesis has 2 objectives, namely (1) to analyze the types of Agus Yudhoyono's illocutionary acts in the Uncover the AHY (Agus Yudhoyono Exclusive) Podcast and (2) to analyze the relevance of the types of Agus Yudhoyono's speech acts in the Revealing the AHY (Agus Yudhoyono Exclusive) Podcast in learning Indonesian. Based on the results of the analysis, the researcher concluded (1) AHY's (Agus Yudhoyono) illocutionary speech acts actually contain 6 types, namely assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, commissive, declarative and rogative. Assertive speech acts were found in 15 data or equivalent to 46%. If so, the type of assertive speech act consists of sub telling as many as 4 data, reporting 3 data, disclosing 2 data, declaring 3 data, announcing 1 data, and urging 2 data. Directive speech acts have 6 data or the equivalent of 18% consisting of sub requesting 1 data, requesting 2 data, giving orders 2 data and demanding 1 data. There are 4 data of commissive speech acts or equivalent to 12%. If the type described is a commissive speech act consisting of sub offering 1 data, promising 2 data and swearing 1 data. There is only 1 expressive speech act or equivalent to 3%, namely the sub feels sympathize with 1 data. Declarative speech acts have 2 data or the equivalent of 6%, namely sub deciding 2 data and rogative speech acts having 5 data or the equivalent of 15% consisting of sub asking 3 data and handling 2 data. So that in total there are 33 types of speech acts that dominate are assertive acts and the least types of speech acts are expressive speech acts. (2) The results of this study have relevance to Indonesian language learning activities in KD 3.13 and 4.13 in grade 8 junior high school. Then, one of the learning materials that can be used is about persuasive texts contained in YouTube podcasts.
