Abstract

Business feasibility analysis is an activity carried out as an effort to maintain a business so that it can continue to run and provide benefits. This research faces a problem in the form of the rise of Oriflame's multilevel marketing business that is developing around Baturetno Subdistrict which is marked by the presence of dozens of sellers doing Oriflame business in Baturetno Subdistrict, and it is not yet known what the feasibility of the business is. The feasibility analysis of the business conducted on the Oriflame MLM in Baturetno aims to find out how the feasibility of the Oriflame MLM business is based on an analysis of its financial and non-financial aspects in order to avoid the risk of loss. The risk of loss from Oriflame MLM is worth avoiding because of the losses that have been experienced by several Oriflame sellers, and there have been cases of fraud in other MLMs. Business feasibility in the financial aspect is analyzed using the Payback Period method to determine the payback period, the Net Present Value to determine the present value by taking into account the time value of money, the Internal Rate of Return to determine the level of internal business returns, and the Profitability Index method to determine the comparison between cash incoming and outgoing cash. While in the aspect of the non-financial factor method used to carry out the analysis are legal, marketing and management factors. This research provides results in the form of businesses that are used as research objects to achieve feasibility in both financial and non-financial aspects, with several differences in the results of calculating financial aspects.
