Abstract

In general, problems with the implementation of Islamic Education in the outermost areas or 3Ts include problems with educators, such as a shortage of teaching staff, unequal distribution, qualifications that are below quality standards, and a lack of competence in implementing Islamic education. This research focuses on the implementation of Non-Formal Islamic Education in the 3T regions which are divided into several regions, namely Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Sumatra, Papua, Maluku and the 3T regions of Cambodia. The purpose of this study was to describe the form of the 3T regional non-formal Islamic education program conducted by Islamic boarding students at Pondok Hajjah Nuriyah Shabran as well as the supporting factors and obstacles during conducting 3T regional non-formal Islamic education. This research method is qualitative research. This type of research is field research. Data analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative. It was carried out using the deductive method, namely the data obtained from the theory used was still general in nature, then conclusions were drawn from the results of the interviews and observations to become specific data. The results of this study are 3T Non-Formal Islamic Education which is carried out by the pondok hajjah nuriyah shabran mahasantri, namely organizing 1) Islamic education for children, in the 3T area is a forum for the community, especially for children who are far from access to urban education must deepen Al - Quran and general understanding of Islam. 2) Islamic Study or Gathering of Ta'lim organized by Mahasantri is a forum for the general public to ask questions about religion and provide information about the jurisprudence of worship according to the Al Quran and As Sunnah. 3) Establishment of Islamic boarding schools for local children in the Minahasa region, prioritizing the teaching of Islamic values to children, so that local cultural influences such as drinking, partying and negative things that can poison local children are prevented. The supporting and inhibiting factors of non-formal Islamic education are that the community is enthusiastic about welcoming and supporting the programs carried out by the shabran students in the service area. Starting from community leaders to the local government took part in supporting the Islamic program that was programmed. The inhibiting factors for non-formal Islamic Education in the 3T Regions are 1) Access is so far from the Provincial Capital, each distance takes almost 8-12 hours of travel to get to the service location, 2) Local Islamic communities who do not fully understand Islam as a whole still there is belief in ancestral teachings and characterizing priests in an area as the foundation of religion in everyday life. 3) Network facilities are not maximized because signal networks can only be reached in certain locations, thus making it difficult to communicate through the media and to find scientific and Islamic references.
