Abstract

Wonogiri Regency is considered as a potential tourist destination area. This is evident from the many tourist assets such as beaches, forests, caves. But the visit rate is still low. This study aims to determine the potential of tourist objects in Wonogiri Regency and to analyze the spatial distribution of tourist objects in Wonogiri Regency. The research method used is primary and secondary data collection techniques, primary data obtained from observation and secondary data obtained from literature review. Tourism sample data obtained from the census by taking all tours that have been registered or managed by the Tourism Office. Data analysis used scoring and classification techniques and spatial analysis, spatial analysis using Averege Nearest Neighbor. The results showed that the distribution of tourism objects in Wonogiri Regency was random, because the location of each tourism object was spread in the east, west and south of Wonogiri Regency, and the value potential in terms of internal and external variables, the Karst Museum Tourism Object has the highest potential score when compared to other tourist objects in Wonogiri Regency.
