Abstract

D'Spring Kost is a boarding houses located nearby Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. Information about room availability and room reservations still has to be done manually. Renters have to visit the boarding house or chat via WhatsApp to get information, so the distribution of information is still limited and not efficient. This study aims to develop a system that provides room availability information and room reservation in website-based system. The system in this study was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the Waterfall model. System development is carried out using the PHP programming language with Laravel framework and MySQL database management system. The result of this study is a web-based reservation information system. Black box testing states the entire functionality of the system can run accordingly as designed. In addition, testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method obtained a score of 86 which means the system is feasible to use.
