Abstract

The occurrence of non-communicable diseases arises from a combination of non-modifiable and modifiable risk factors. Modifiable risk factors include smoking, lack of physical activity, unhealthy diet and alcohol consumption. Age and lifestyle or behavior are risk factors for non-communicable diseases. Risky behavior usually begins during the teenage years. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of sleep quality, sedentary lifestyle, smoking behavior, and alcohol consumption in students at SMKN 6 Sukoharjo. This study used a quantitative descriptive research method with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted with 145 respondents. Sampling used simple random sampling. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire which was filled in directly by the respondents online. Specifically for sleep quality variables using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire, sedentary lifestyle variables using the Adolescent Sedentary Activity Questionnaire (ASAQ) questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that sleep quality is dominated by the bad category by 55.1%, sedentary lifestyle is dominated by the bad category by 75.2%, smoking behavior is included in the low category with active smokers by 4.1%, and alcohol consumption behavior is included in the low category. low with alcohol drinkers as much as 1.4%. Based on the results of the study, sleep quality and sedentary lifestyle were classified as bad, and further research could be developed by examining the relationship of these variables to the incidence of non-communicable diseases.
