Abstract
Abstract The pandemic that has lasted for many years has caused changes in all human lives. The pandemic that has hit almost all countries in the world has attacked all aspects of human life, including education. The transition of the implementation of face-to-face learning from before online learning is something that must be carefully prepared. With the transition period from online to offline, adjustments to the use of learning media are needed. This study aims to determine the perspective of students in the use of learning media in listening to the new normal era. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were students in the 5th semester of English Language Education. The data of this study was collected using interview and observation methods. Researchers apply interactive techniques consisting of data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusion drawing / verification techniques to analyze the data. The results of this study show that in listening learning students use three media, namely Starmaker, Simante and Audiovisual. There are several perspectives from the students teachers' perspectives, such as (1) the media used has followed the development of existing media, (2) the media used has been very effectively applied in listening learning, (3) the media is easily accessible anywhere and anytime, (4) sometimes it is difficult to log in to the media, (5) the audio played is sometimes not so clear.
