Abstract

Permanent magnet synchronous generator / Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) is one of the main components of Wind / Wind Power Plants (PLTB). The purpose of this study is to find a solution to the lack of wind resources on the Indonesian coast where wind speeds tend to be unstable or even weak. The modeling design will be made using variations in the number of slots and poles, namely the 12 slot 10 pole (12S10P) and 24 slot 16 pole (24S16P) models, each with a power capacity of 100 VA, a voltage rating of 50 V with a frequency of 50 Hz and then simulated on the MagNet Infolytica software. 7.5. The purpose of this study is to obtain a design that is able to work most effectively when the power source or rotational speed is minimum by analyzing the test results with scenarios in the form of load variation simulations and minimum rpm testing simulations. The results obtained from this simulation are the highest voltage of 10.23 V with a rotating speed of 350 with a load of 15 Ω , then the highest efficiency and output power is achieved at a rotational speed of 350 with a load of 5 Ω which is 69% with an output power of 1.98 watt.
