Abstract
Background: Every country's financial system is very dependent on banking organizations. One of the main components of the financial sector is the banking industry. Banking assists other sectors of the economy in a number of ways, including acting as a source of finance, offering a means of settling payments, and being an important player in the trade of any goods. The birth of Islamic banks, namely financial institutions whose operations are guided by sharia law which allows for a new life economy. Indonesia and Turkey have very good prospects for creating three Islamic banking systems where Muslims constitute the majority of the population. Purpose: aims to explain the influence and comparison of the Financing to deposit ratio (FDR), Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) on the financial performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia and Turkey for the period 2019 to 2021. Method: Type the research used is quantitative research with the dependent variable used is Return On Asset (ROA) profitability while the independent variables are Financing to deposit ratio / FDR (X1), Non Performing Financing NPF / (X2) and Capital Adequacy Ratio / CAR (X3) , which will be analyzed using the panel data regression method (Eviews). Results: Shows that the Financing to deposit ratio (FDR) and Non Performing Financing (NPF) have no effect on ROA profitability, while for the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) variable. The results of the comparison of bank health assessments for the FDR variable in Indonesia are better with a Healthy predicate, for the NPF variable it shows that both countries have the same Healthy predicate, and the CAR variable shows Indonesia and Turkey have a Very Healthy rating.
