Abstract

Hydroponics is a plant cultivation system that does not use soil growing media but uses water and nutrients to save planting land so that it is not contaminated with chemicals in the soil. Hydroponics has several techniques, one of which is floating raft hydroponics or a floting raft system, a system that uses a water holding pond, styrofoam or the like as a floating raft. Floating raft hydroponics is a simple hydroponic system. Nutrients also flow into the growth medium in the container and the flannel as the axis. Nutritional needs are needed by plants because they can help the growth of these plants. Each plant requires a different amount of nutrients. This monitoring tool uses several sensors such as a TDS sensor, pH sensor, DHT sensor, ds18b20 sensor. This system uses Arduino Pro Mini as a microcontroller. This tool is also assisted by the Blynk application and based on the Internet of Things for remote monitoring. The test results on the four sensors each have a different average error value, this can be seen from the media used and conventional measuring instruments as a comparison. The difference in the value of the sensor with the measuring instrument is due to the quality of the sensor used. The average error value of the ds18b20 sensor measurement is 2.2%, the TDS sensor is 4.2% for Caisim plants and 3.3% for Pakcoy, and the pH sensor is 1.5% for Caisim plants and 1.9 % in Pakcoy
