Abstract

Thematic Studies are used in this study. Thematic Tafsir (Maudhu'i) is an interpretation that discusses problems in the Qur'an according to a particular theme or topic. In order for us to know more deeply about this interpretation, the author will describe the method of this interpretation. Resilience is the ability to survive and rise to difficult and stressful situations as well as adapt to problems, including facing human calamities and adapting to the calamities that hit them. Resilience is needed by a Muslim so that when disaster strikes, he is not easily frustrated, depressed, and stressed. Disasters can be in the form of accidents, disasters, epidemics, and others. Based on the phenomenon described, the purpose of this study is to further examine the verses of resilience in dealing with disasters in the Al-Quran. Human life is not spared from the name of disaster. When a disaster occurs, humans tend to feel stressed, depressed, upset, anxious, or even experience other mental illnesses. Often a person is confused about having to face a disaster, even though Allah SWT in the Qur'an has included verses that provide a solution to dealing with a disaster. The data collection method used in this study is library research to analyze resilience verses using thematic studies of the Qur'an or commonly called maudhu'i studies. That is to find and collect verses of resilience in the Qur'an, then the author uses a descriptive analysis approach, namely the main research data is explained by processing the existing data, then analyzed using the Al-Misbah commentary and the Al-Azhar interpretation book which can be support research objectives and topics. The results of this study, the author describes the interpretation of resilience verses using the Al-Misbah and Al-Azhar interpretation books, and the author analyzes the resilience verses in the Al-Qur'an and describes them according to the topics or themes discussed in the research This. Based on the explanations that have been presented, the author concludes that by studying the verses of resilience in the Qur'an it will be found that a person will have high resilience in dealing with problems in his life, including calamities that befall in his life and verses of resilience can be applied to the recovery of disaster victims.
