Abstract

Quran the majlis tafsir (MTA) High school of Surakarta is an islamic school founded by the head of the quran the majlis tafsir foundation ustadz Muhammad Abdullah Thufail Saputro. The Quran the majlis tafsir (mta) administration's aim is to bring students closer to the qur 'an and to give science and technology to compete in global competition. The purpose of this study is to describe the dynamics of developing quran the majlis tafsir (MTA) High school of Surakarta, as well as drivers and developmental factors. The study is a field research initiative using qualitative methods with a historical approach. Data collection is done with interviews, documentaries, and observations. And then the data analysis uses Miles and Huberman interactive model of data reduction, data model, and conclusion. Research shows that: 1) quran the majlis tafsir (MTA) High school of Surakarta experiencing the dynamics of development through three stages of the period, namely the pioneering period, the revitalization period, and the development period. First, the pioneering period was the age when new schools were established and started. Second, the revitalization period is the era in which schools change every aspect of the building and the changes in the education system adopted. Third, the development period is the period where the school progresses from the full the means and infrastructure and the achievements that people achieve each year. 2) The driving and inhibiting factors for the dynamics of the development quran the majlis tafsir (MTA) High school of Surakarta include: First, the constraints for percenters: some in the neighborhood who disagreed with the creation of mta high school, less stable funding, as it coincided with the mta middle school, the few teachers and the lack of infrastructure to support the learning process. Second, constraints on the revitalization period: the dorms still combined into one with the school. Third, the hindrance factor in development: the lack of classroom space that makes the learning process less effective.
