Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out whether the concept of restorative justice can complement provisions relating to children in conflict with the law, and how restorative justice can be applied to minor theft crimes. The concept of restorative justice can complement the conflict between children and the law, because restorative justice can fight for children's rights in the future. The application of restorative justice in the crime of child theft is known for the process of mediation and negotiation between the perpetrator, the victim, the perpetrator and the victim's family, the community and law enforcement. The restorative justice approach focuses on the needs of victims and perpetrators. In addition, a restorative justice approach helps perpetrators avoid such crimes in the future. The idea of justice assumes that crime and abuse are seen as abuses of individuals or society, not crimes of the state.
