Abstract
The application of criminal sanctions against perpetrators of criminal acts or crimes is one of the efforts in upholding justice. It is necessary to handle and enforce the right law against children if they are found to be consuming alcohol. The problem of this research is the legal policy that regulates alcohol is regulated in the Criminal Code, the Child Protection Act and in Islamic Law and the implementation of protection for children as alcohol consumers carried out by the police in an effort to protect children. The purpose of this study was to determine the legal policies that regulate alcohol-related regulated in the Criminal Code, the Child Protection Act and in Islamic Law and the implementation of protection for children as alcohol consumers carried out by the police in an effort to protect children. The method used in this study is an empirical juridical approach because it analyzes the obstacles experienced by investigators in tackling the circulation of alcohol in the community, especially for children. The results of this study are the legal policies governing the protection of children as alcohol consumers are described in Articles 300, 492 and 536 of the Criminal Code, the Child Protection Act, and Q.S Al-Baqarah: 219 and Q.S An-Nisaa: 24. Then related to the policy of the Boyolali Police in efforts to protect children as alcohol consumers, namely (1) Cooperating with the community; (2) Cooperating with educational institutions; (3) Conducting Security Patrols, and implementing three methods, namely preemptive, preventive and repressive.
