Abstract

In a fish farm owned by Mr. Eko/Mrs. Helmi in Sidorejo Village, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency, the need for tools and materials is a factor in determining the health and growth of fish. The growth and quality of fish is one of the factors that affect fish, namely the quality of the pond water is sold or used as food. The influencing factor is the quality of the water in the fish pond. Currently, water quality monitoring is done manually, so people need time and effort. In this research, a tool is used to control water quality automatically. This tool is designed to control an IoT-based fish pond water quality system that can be monitored via the web/smartphone. This system works by monitoring water using sensors. Control flowing IoT-based which will later be connected to the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller as the main signal processor. This system works to monitor temperature, pH, turbidity, rain and so on using sensors. filling pool water and dosing pump based on sensor input. Water quality is controlled by activating the water pump to drain and fill the pool water and the dosing pump according to input from the sensor. Based on the test results, this tool has worked according to the design. According to the design, this tool is capable of monitoring pH, turbidity, temperature, then there is an output in the form of a ph pump actuator and turbidity pump. This tool has a rain sensor to control the leaves around the pool with the roof closing automatically. to overcome problems in fish farming such as water quality problems and leaf droppings in ponds.
