Abstract

This study aims to determine the economic potential and management of the Kemis Wage Benowo Park Market and Penggarit Orchids as one of the tourist villages in Pemalang Regency. The method used is qualitative research with an ethnographic design. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study (1) Kemis Wage Benowo Park Market and Penggarit Orchids are one of the tourist destinations in the Penggarit tourist village, Pemalang Regency, which have very promising potential in the economic sector. This is proven by the high income at the Wage Kemis Market once held with an income range of Rp. 10,000,000 and on Penggarit Orchids for each month with an income range of Rp. 100,000,000. In addition to income, uniqueness is also something that stands out in the two tours so that many visitors come to these tours resulting in an increase in the economy. The manager also collaborates with various parties to continue to innovate in order to increase the interest of visitors to always come to these tours. (2) Management at Penggarit tourism village is very good, namely by providing the best service; carry out arrangements, development and institutions; and continue to develop or innovate for the advancement of the Penggarit tourism village.
