Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of job training and compensation on employee performance. The sampling technique in this study was a random sampling technique, namely random sampling without regard to the existing strata, then the researcher conducted an analysis using the SPSS 22 application. The object of this study was located at the Rembang Regency Youth and Sports Education Office, with 57 employees as samples. The type of data used in this study uses primary data in which the data is obtained by the researcher directly from the informant. The research methodology used in this study is the questionnaire or questionnaire method. Data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of research and processing of questionnaire data in this study indicate that job training has no significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the results of the t count (1.540) < t table (1.672) or the results of a significance value of 0.129 > 0.05 and the regression coefficient X1 is 0.067 . Meanwhile, compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the t count (6.564) > t table (1.672) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and an X2 regression coefficient of 0.559.
