Abstract

The Regency/City DPRD is one of the government organizing institutions other than the Regional Head or Mayor who has the same position in an autonomous region. Throughout its development, the DPRD Building has undergone construction changes that are influenced by several factors, so it is necessary to improve the quality and quantity of construction of the building. Good building construction is supported by a Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) system. The problem faced when designing the MEP is to determine the load current division of each phase on the LVMDP (Low Voltage Main Distribution Panel) panel, then the GWT and rooftank capacity to be used and the need for a generator to backup the load when a power outage occurs. The purpose of this final project research is to design a MEP system design on the Purbalingga Regency DPRD building with an area of 5,350 m2 with 2 floors. The method used in this study used Microsoft Excel Software, Dialux Software, AutoCAD Software 2022 and ETAP Software 12.6.0 to design a MEP system design. The results obtained in the study were that the current division of each phase on the LVMDP panel was phase R 827.612 A, S 826.752 A, T 825.386 A. The total 3-phase load power in this building is 464,445 watts. The MCB used on the LVMDP panel is a 3-phase ACB with a capacity of 1000 A and the cable used is of the NYY 8 × 1 × 300 mm2 type. The planned GWT capacity can hold water of 180 m3 with dimensions of 10 m × 6 m × 3 m. The power distribution system from PLN experienced a voltage drop of less than 10%. The capacity of the generator used to supply a load of 464,445 watts is 650 kVA.
