Abstract

A web-based food sales information system is the development of a sales information system in the culinary world. Jagosore Restaurant is a medium-sized business owned by individuals in Boyolali, Central Java. Rumah Makan Jagosore provides a place to eat for customers, which presents various types of menus, especially soups and curry dishes. Previously, the sales system at the Jagosore restaurant still used conventional methods. This study aims to produce a web-based sales information system that can handle sales information systems for the Jagosore restaurant. This study uses the waterfall method in system development. The waterfall method has the advantage of being a consistent and gradual process that reduces errors during the system development process. The waterfall method used has stages including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The results of black box testing found that the system has succeeded in carrying out each of its functions, while the UAT (user acceptance testing) test obtained a percentage of 77.3% or a score of "Clear/Good," which means that the system can be accepted by users at the Jagosore restaurant. It is hoped that this research can contribute to increasing progress in the scope of sales and can handle sales systems that were previously still handled in the conventional way, which took a long time for documentation and in the sales flow.
