Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the management of tourism objects infrastructure at the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir in Wonogiri Regency and to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for the management of tourism infrastructure at the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir. The method used in this research is qualitative research with case study design. The research subjects are managers and visitors of tourist objects. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique includes three paths, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the planning of the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir tourism objects management is grouped into long-term and short-term planning. Organizing consists of the manager's responsibility. Briefing is carried out verbally by management officers and supervision is carried out by officers according to their respective zones or parts. The supporting factors for the development of Gajah Mungkur Reservoir tourism objects are the location of a tourist attraction that is quite strategic not far from the city center and the natural potential in Wonogiri Regency which is still beautiful. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is budgeting that is less flexible, where to build a building with a cost of more than 200 million rupiah, it must go through a process according to the specified regulations and takes a long time.
