Abstract

Buying and selling is a transaction between sellers and buyers, both offline and direct, such as in markets and supermarkets as well as online using buying and selling applications, one of the most widely used buying and selling applications in Indonesia is shopee, in the shopee application we can find many promotions such as free shipping or discounted prices. the free shipping promo has a system that is still unclear about Islamic law, in this thesis the author wants to examine how Islamic law reviews the free shipping system in buying and selling in the shopee application. This study uses a qualitative method which uses data collection techniques through observation and literature. The results of this study are that the free shipping system is allowed as long as there are no burdensome conditions for the buyer and there are no additional requirements that the buyer must meet to get the free shipping. Shopee should be able to provide free shipping as a whole to all users without conditions that must be met first, so that they are in accordance with sharia and Islamic law.
