Abstract

The research aims to describe the sustainability of the furniture business in Suwawal Village during the COVID-19 pandemic and to describe strategies for maintaining the furniture business in Suwawal Village during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation The subjects in this study were five small furniture businesses in Suwawal Village, which had been established for about five years. Data analysis techniques by way of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions The results of this study indicate that: 1) The furniture business in Suwawal Village faces several challenges in maintaining business continuity, including decreased sales, difficulty managing venture capital, decreased profits, difficulty paying employee salaries. 2) Several strategies for the furniture business in Suwawal Village to maintain business include conducting promotions both offline and online, maintaining the quality of furniture products, and improving service to consumers.
