Abstract

Corruption crimes have increased from year to year, this increase is seen from the increasing number of cases and also from the amount of state losses incurred, including in the village fund corruption sector. The former Head of Tremes Village did not escape criminal sanctions because he was proven to have committed a criminal act of corruption in village funds. This study aims to find out how criminal sanctions are applied to perpetrators of corruption in Tremes Village funds in the Semarang Tipikor Court Decision No.16/Pid.Sus-TPK/2019/PN.Smg, to find out efforts to prevent corruption in Tremes Village, District Sidoharjo, Wonogiri Regency, and to find out how the perspective of Islamic law relates to sanctions for criminal acts of corruption imposed on the Semarang Tipikor Court Decision No.16/Pid.Sus-TPK/2019/PN.Smg. The research approach method used by the author is empirical normative. The type of research used is descriptive research, namely systematically describing materials/data derived from literature studies and field studies. Data collection methods in this study are normative (with literature) and empirical (with interviews). Then this study uses qualitative and descriptive data analysis methods to obtain conclusions.
