Abstract

In the element of communication is effect on the impressions on television. Atta-aurel’s wedding broadcst wants to convey a message to the public that the meaning of an ideal marriage is a marriage that is held sacredly using culture that is packaged in a modern and luxurious way. However, it has violated the broadcasting law because it holds private and Live events through television and does not pay attention to the benefits and public interests. Televisions channel RCTI so that this research is a qualitative research. How is marriage on the RCTI television channel, especially related to the Analysis of Teen Reception on Live Atta-Aurel Marriage show. The researcher uses the Reception Analysis theory by Stuart Hall by using the reception analysis method by Stuart Hall. This type of research is qualitative using research sample of 6 students in Solo Raya. Using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques and using the validity technique of source triangulation, namely by analyzing data from various sources, comparing/rechecking the level trust in information drom various sources. The result of the study stated that students admissions in Atta-Aurel’s wedding broadcast on television occupied 3 posistions according to the Stuart Hall reception analysis, namely the Dominanr Hegomonic position, the negotiated position, and the Opposition position. One informan occupied the position of Dominanr Hegemonic. Two informan are in the Negotiated Position. While three informan occupied Oppsition Position. This is motivated by differences in environmental factors, social status, and education.
