Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe public perceptions of Akulaku online loan applications and the factors that influence customer interest in making online loans at Akulaku. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a case study research design. The informants in this study were Surakarta city students aged 18-25 years (productive age) who always use the Akulaku application and have used the Akulaku application for a minimum of 1 year judging from transaction history. Data collection techniques used interviews and detailed documentation of limits and transactions, while to test the validity of the data using source triangulation to test the validity and accuracy of the data to minimize data falsification and to analyze data, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. With the research results 1) Can borrow without any collateral/collateral, the application has been supervised by the OJK, and the application for borrowing funds is fast and accurate. 2) factors that influence Akulaku loans in the form of economic factors such as transacting in the Akulaku application get lots of discounts and lower prices, cultural factors such as the ease of doing online shopping activities, as well as psychological factors such as the ease of making transactions at Akulaku and ease of payment, can be through m-banking or through mini markets that have collaborated in all parts of Indonesia.
