Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character values, constraints, and solutions through scout extracurriculars at SMA Negeri 1 Kartasura for the period 2021/2022. This type of research is a qualitative description with a descriptive design. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The subjects of this study were Scout Leaders, Traditional Leaders, and Ambalan Members at SMA Negeri 1 Kartasura. Sources of data in this study using sources, places, and events, as well as archives and documents. The research instrument used instruments in the form of observation sheets, interview guidelines, and document review guidelines. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of discipline character values with scout extracurricular activities through getting used to being present on time and obeying the rules. Constraints faced are unstable network, lack of understanding of regulations. Solutions that can be used to implement the values of disciplined character are by providing punishment for those who are late or violate the rules, set an example, and provide guidance.
