Abstract

Klaurung Subdistrict is one of the administrative areas within Sorong City. Agrotourism in Klaurung District is one of the tourist attractions that must be developed because this agrotourism is quite interesting and there are educational facilities. The lack of knowledge and management of agrotourism, the lack of supporting facilities, and human resources that have not yet had potential in the development of agrotourism are factors that hinder the development of agrotourism, for this reason, there is a need for efforts so that agrotourism in Klaurung District has an attractiveness in traveling.then the purpose of this study is 1.) Analyzing the potential of Klaurung Subdistrict as a location for agro-tourism development. 2.) Formulate a strategy for agro-tourism development in Klaurung District. This study used a secondary data analysis method obtained from various related agencies equipped with a method supported by field observation. In this study, SWOT analysis was used as a basis for designing a strategy for developing tourist objects. This analysis is based on logic that can maximize strengths (strenghts) and pelung (opportunities), but can simultaneously minimize weaknesses (weakness) and threats (threats). The results of the research obtained, namely Agrotourism in Klaurung District has a moderate potential class. This can be interpreted to mean that not all characteristics and potentials that exist in Agrotourism in Klaurung District are driving factors in the efforts to develop tourist attractions, but there are also factors that hinder it. This inhibiting factor needs to be done with improvement or even development efforts so that tourists are more interested in visiting Agrotourism in Klaurung District. Based on the analysis of the development of tourism objects, what needs to be done is the direction for the development of Agrotourism in Klaurung District covering the following aspects, namely by improving the quality of accessibility to agro-tourism areas to improve the quality of management in the agrotourism area of Klaurung District.
