Abstract

In 2020, Indonesia and several other countries are being hit by an outbreak of the coronavirus disease. Coronavirus itself is a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from mild to severe symptoms. Coronavirus Diseases 2019 (COVID19) is a new type of disease that has never been previously identified in humans. The presence of the COVID-19 virus in Indonesia currently has an impact on the entire community. The impact of the COVID-19 virus occurs in various fields such as social, economic, tourism and education. In the field of education itself, teachers must ensure that learning activities continue, even though students study from home. This is based on the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia regarding Circular Letter Number 4 of 2020 concerning Implementation of Education Policies in the Emergency Period of the Spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) (Mendikbud RI, 2020). The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of Accounting through the Blended Learning in class XI AKL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Sragen. This type of research is Classroom Action Research by analyzing student development data from pre-cycle, first cycle to second cycle. The subjects of this action research were students of class XI AKL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Sragen with a total of 36 students. The subject of the implementation of the action is the teacher of the Financial Accounting subject. Methods of data collection using observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The procedure in this study has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique used is the presentation of the data in the form of a description of the implementation of the research and the drawing of conclusions presented on the results of research related to the implementation of the learning process. The results showed an increase in understanding of Accounting by using the Blended Learning. This is evidenced by before the implementation of the average student learning outcomes of 81. In the first cycle the average learning outcomes of 85. In the second cycle student learning outcomes of 89. Based on the results of the classroom action research data, it can be concluded that the Blended Learning can improve students' understanding of Accounting in class XI AKL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Sragen.
