Abstract

At the end of 2019, the world experienced the Covid-19 pandemic. China is the origin of patient zero. The spread of this virus is very fast and deadly, the symptoms caused by this virus are the same as flu symptoms in general. However, in 2022, the government has provided leniency for the Health protocol that is in closed and open spaces. One of them is to wear a mask and measure the temperature of people who will enter the room. To facilitate the implementation of the Health protocol, this study will design a tool that can determine the number of visitors in the room, the visitor's temperature, and the visitor's identity. This design uses several sensors, such as ultrasonic sensors, RFID RC522, and MLX90614. All sensors will be connected to the Arduino mega as a microcontroller which will then be sent to Blynk via the ESP8266 module type ESP01. RFID will read the access card from the visitor and display the identity on the LCD. The identity of the visitor will be sent by Arduino to the email that has been registered in the system. Ultrasonic sensors are used to detect visitors who will enter or leave the room. If the number in the room has exceeded the maximum limit, this tool will notify the Blynk application. This tool is recommended for rooms that have 2 doors with dimensions of 1m wide. The MLX90614 sensor is used to detect the temperature of visitors who will enter the room if the visitor's temperature exceeds the maximum limit, it will give a notification on the blink and provide a blue light on the device. ESP8266 will send data processed on Arduino to the blynk application. Blynk will display all data in real-time on the user's cellphone, such as the number of visitors, the temperature of the visitors, and the number in the room at that time. This application can also make it easier to monitor visitors in a room. This system is also a member. Visitors who have not registered, cannot enter the room.
