Abstract

PT X is a conglomerate company that has various business lines. PT X consists of various divisions, one of which is the Management Development Division. The condition of employee management in the division has been managed quite well by the Company's Human Resources Development section, however, the work life balance has not become the main program targeted by the company in managing its employees. This study aims to analyze the effect and relationship of work life balance on employee job satisfaction in the Management Development Division at PT X and provide suggestions for improvements to the dimensions of work life balance and job satisfaction indicators which have the lowest score. This study uses associative quantitative methods, in which the data processing is carried out by statistical analysis techniques consisting of partial test (t test), correlation test, simple linear regression test, coefficient of determination test, descriptive analysis and cross tabulation analysis. The results of this study are first, work life balance has an effect on job satisfaction of employees of the Management Development Division at PT X. Second, there is a relationship between work life balance and job satisfaction of employees of the Management Development Division at PT X. Third, the dimension of work life balance which has a value The lowest is the Work Interference with Personal Life (WIPL) dimension and the job satisfaction indicator which has the lowest value is the salary indicator. Fourth, employees in the Management Development Department have the highest average work life balance and job satisfaction scores.
