Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and time management with student academic procrastination in writing thesis at the Faculty of Psychology UMS. The population of this research is students who are taking a thesis at the Faculty of Psychology UMS totaling 381 students. This study uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique with a total of 111 respondents. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire via google form. The scale used in this study is to use a measuring instrument that includes the academic procrastination scale, self efficacy, and time management scale. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression using SPSS version 21.0. The results of data analysis showed that F = 85,770, the correlation value (r) = 0.783 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05), meaning that there is a very significant relationship between self-efficacy and time management with student academic procrastination in writing thesis. The results showed that the self-efficacy and time management variables together had an influence on the academic procrastination variable of 61.4% with the details of the self-efficacy variable providing an effective contribution of 19.8%, time management of 41.6%, and 38, 6% comes from other factors not included in this study.
