Abstract

This study was aimed to create a product and assess Sparkol Videoscribe product as a learning media on basic competencies of financial services institution. The method used in this study was Research and Development (R&D) with Posttest-only control group design developed through ADDIE model which stands for Analysis, Design, Development and Production, Implementation or Delivery and Evaluation. This study was conducted in Primagama course located in Sukoharjo. The subjects were the 10th grade social science students. The technique of data analysis in this study used quantitative descriptive. The result revealed that media which was developed was sufficient to be applied. The validation result from the content experts was 83.34%, from the subject teachers was 94%, and the media experts was 100%. Post-test assessment was examined in the control and experimental class as the subjects. The t-test assessment was showed that there was significant difference of learning outcome with 0.021, less than 0.05. Meanwhile, the significant value from the controlled group was 0.177. In conclusion, the study claimed that Sparkol Videoscribe could improve students’ learning outcome.
