Abstract
PKU Muhammadiyah Orphanage Blimbing Branch is a social organization under the auspices of PKU Muhammadiyah. This orphanage in its operational system does not yet have an information system that supports the administrative management process so that donation-raising activities to data storage still use conventional media. This study aims to design and implement a website-based orphanage information system by the analysis of the needs of the orphanage system. This information system design method uses the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) waterfall model. This website was designed using the Python programming language and then using the Django framework, then using the MySQL database, and using HTML and CSS to make the website look. The steps taken to design an information system are system planning, system requirements analysis, system design, and system implementation by testing the system. The implementation of this website-based information system is expected to help orphanages in managing orphanage administration, such as making it easier to raise donations to facilitate the orphanage's operational process.
