Abstract

The emergence of the corona virus or its other name, namely covid-19, changing human life habits to become more disciplined in maintaining cleanliness, with increasing cases of covid-19 transmission, it is recommended to apply health protocols for prevention of transmission, but drastic changes can be difficult to implement as happened to traders in traditional markets who sell and meet with other people every day, this can increase the risk of transmission of covid-19, from the possibility of a greater risk of contracting each individual can just feel anxious. The purpose of this study was to obtain information regarding the anxiety of traders in traditional markets on the risk of Covid-19 transmission. The qualitative method used in this research is a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were 3 people with professions as traders in traditional markets. The data collection technique used is interviews. And the data analysis used is through the stages of data reduction and then data presentation to drawing conclusions. The results obtained in this study are that all informants experience fear of anxiety and worry in certain situations that refer to the characteristics of state anxiety and informants make preventive and promotive efforts in dealing with anxiety so that it can help reduce the anxiety experienced.
