Abstract

During the covid-19 pandemic, the learning and education process continues even though it as offline method. With the offline teaching and learning process, teachers must be able to apply learning innovations through the use of media, tools, and methods in teaching. So that learning can run as much as optimally as possible and students also get maximum learning outcomes . This type of research uses field research with a phenomenological approach. Data sources consist of two namely primary and secondary. Primary data were obtained from direct observation and interviews with five people consisting of the principal of the fiqh teacher and class IX C students at SMP Al Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong. While the secondary data obtained from the results of observations and documentation. The data collection method used in this research is the observation method, the interview, and the documentation method. Analysis of qualitative data analysis using three steps, namely reducing data presentation of data and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, data shows that the role of teachers in improving fiqh learning innovation is the process of implementing learning during the covid-19 pandemic at Al Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong middle school face to face (offline method) in the use of innovations carried out by fiqh teachers in the process. The learning uses various methods including the lecture method, reading load, discussion, question and answer, and then at the end of the lesson the teachers provides motivation and clarification so that student learning outcomes can run effectively and is marked by the achievement of a learning goal and the achievement of the KKM score (75) even many students who excel more or exceed.
