Abstract
The manual transport of goods using human power is still extensive, despite the widespread use of machinery. The advantage is that when in a confined space work mobility can still be done with. The problem with ro baitul mustofa is an odd working posture when it cuts across a gallon like bowing and cranking and therefore can lead to musculoskeletal disorder. The objective of research was to analyze and determine control proposals for handling manual activities by lifft and owas methods. Research based on lifft suggests that the activity of both workers is at medium risk with a percentage of 30% by workers 1 and 25.7% by workers 2, while OWAS on the taking and moving of gallons by both workers is in the 2nd category, there should be improvement in the future. The proposed improvements to this study are by repairing job posture with OWAS at picking up and layinggallons, and provide proposals for the design of tools to facilitate the movement of goods and reduce fatigue due to activities manual handling.
