Abstract

Ainun Batik Convection MSME is one of the Batik MSMEs in Surakarta. Currently Batik Ainun is experiencing increasingly challenging competition due to the large number of other Batik MSMEs that have the same concept. Based on this, there are problems, how is the strategy for developing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for Ainun Batik Convection. Performance measurement is carried out to assess the progress of work against predetermined goals and targets, therefore this study uses an integrated approach to the SWOT-Balance Scorecard method in order to formulate a proposed strategy for the development of MSMEs. The SWOT method is used to see the company's internal and external factors, which will later lead to alternative strategies. Then the alternative strategies will be translated into strategic objectives into four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard. From a financial perspective, there is a measure of NPM with a performance of 68%, ROE with a performance of 121%. From the customer perspective, there are measures of customer satisfaction with a value of 71.40%, image and reputation with a value of 71.20%, and service quality with a value of 63.68%. In the internal business process perspective, the measurement based on the number of innovations has a performance of 3, the number of promotional uploads on social media with a performance of 57, the efficiency of service SOPs with a performance of 50%, and does not yet have an organizational structure and job description in its internal management. In the growth and learning perspective, there is a level of employee job satisfaction with a value of 75%, an employee retention rate of 29%, an employee productivity of Rp. 4,625,000, and the amount of training per year is 40%. The results of the performance measurement are then compared with the company's target, and there are 7 sizes that have met the target and 7 sizes have not met the target. Therefore, the 7 measures that have not met the target are given alternative strategy suggestions for improving the company's performance and as a consideration for the company in the future.
