These few years we are living in a pandemic, has had an impact on changes in rules and daily activities. Various restrictions were put in place to prevent people from public spaces so that e-commerce and online shops ran rampant. This leads to excessive shopping behavior. Students are vulnerable to fulfilling desires on the basis of mere pleasure. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between self-concept and consumptive behavior in students who do online shopping during the covid-19 pandemic period. This research is using correlational quantitative research. The research subjects were 209 active students of the 2017-2021 S-1 Faculty of Psychology at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta with the condition that they had an allowance of more than Rp. 1,500,000/ month and actively using e-commerce or online shop. The scale used in this study is the self-concept scale and the consumptive behavior scale. The analytical technique used is Spearman rank correlation with SPSS. The correlation results show that there is no relationship between self-concept and consumptive behavior, the correlation coefficient value is -0.09 with a significance value. 0.197 (p > 0.05). The results of the categorization of this study are that students' self-concepts are at medium and high levels, while consumptive behavior is at low and moderate levels.
