Abstract

The use of water reservoirs in the community is very much found to accommodate water from wells, PDAM, rainwater and others. but in the process of filling it still using a manual method so that it cannot monitor / monitor the water level in the reservoir, so when the water is full in the reservoir until it overflows, it is turned off. This article will discuss a water level monitoring tool in the tank, using a developed tool, the water pump can be turned on and off automatically which is controlled using a relay. The performance of this tool has 2 conditions. The first condition is when the sensor distance from the water surface is <= 5 cm, the water pump will turn off. The second condition is when the sensor distance from the water level is >= 20 cm, the pump will turn on. To measure the water level in the tank used ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04. Wemos is used to connect with the blynk application which will send data to a smartphone to be able to monitor the water level in the tank. The data obtained from sensor measurements in total is 361.6 cm, while the measurements made here are 360 cm, so there is a difference of 1.6 cm, with an error percentage of 0.44%.
