Abstract
Studying the Qur'an is an obligation for Muslims who are commanded by Allah. The Qur'an is a book that contains advice, justification and distinguishes between right and wrong. This book serves as a reminder for those who forget. Currently there are many people who do not have the ability to read the Qur'an, especially to be able to understand the content of the teachings of the Qur'an. At Pondok Rooihatul Jannah, there are several female students, especially female students, who have recently been found who have not been able to read the Qur'an properly because each female student has a different background, especially new female students. Whereas in Islamic boarding schools are required to be able to memorize the Qur'an. Starting from this, the tahsin program was implemented at Pondok Rooihatul Jannah. The research objectives to be achieved are to describe the implementation of the tahsin program in improving the quality of memorizing the Qur'an at Pondok Rooihatul Jannah Dukuh Brumbung Sukoharjo and explain the quality of memorizing the Qur'an for new female students at Pondok Rooihatul Jannah Dukuh Brumbung Sukoharjo. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of the tahsin program for new students at Pondok Rooihatul Jannah Sukoharjo includes program planning and program implementation. The results of the implementation of the tahsin program at Pondok Rooihatul Jannah are fairly good and have increased because with the tahsin program the students' reading will be helped and become better according to their recitation.
