Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of development of children's gross motor skills after the teacher's movements and songs were applied. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis with Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the research method. This research was conducted in TK Pertiwi I Denggungan. The research subjects were 9 children consisting of 4 boys and 5 girls. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that there was an increase in the gross motor skills of children with the criteria for Very Good Development (BSB), before the research (Pre-Cycle) the level of gross motor skills of children was 0%, after the first cycle was 25% and the second cycle was 88.9 % with the success criteria of Very Good Development (BSB). The results showed that the gross motor skills of early childhood through movements and songs created by the teacher as a whole had improved very well. Based on the results of the study, educators are advised to use teacher-created movements and songs as an effort to improve children's gross motor skills.
